At TACS Wales, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Tamil arts and culture in South Wales.

We provide a nurturing environment for students to flourish and excel in Tamil language, dance, and music.

Our History

Yearly Activities

  • Thai Pongal: The organization celebrates the harvest festival with enthusiasm.
  • Sports Day: An annual sports event brings members together for friendly competition.
  • Navaratri Day: The vibrant Navaratri festival is a highlight of the organization’s cultural calendar.
  • Annual Day: A grand celebration to commemorate the organization’s achievements.
  • Christmas Celebration Day: Members come together to celebrate the festive season.
  • First Meeting and Navaratri in Morriston: The organization held its inaugural meeting and celebrated Navaratri in Morriston.
  • Incorporated as LTD: The organization was officially incorporated as a limited company. 
  • Second Committee Elected: The second committee was elected to lead the organization.
  • Became a Charity Organization: The organization transitioned into a charity organization.
  • First Sports Meet Conducted: The first sports meet was successfully organized.
  • Third Committee Elected: A new committee was elected to continue the organization’s work.
  • Fourth Committee Elected: The organization continued to thrive under the leadership of the fourth committee.

  • Fifth Committee Elected: The fifth committee took charge, ensuring the organization’s growth.
  • First Regional Sports Meet: The organization hosted its first regional sports meet, promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie.
  • 10th Annual Day: A milestone celebration marked the organization’s 10th annual day.
  • Sixth Committee Elected: The sixth committee was elected to steer the organization forward.
  • Seventh Committee Elected: The current committee continues to uphold the organization’s values and mission.

  • Music, Bharathanatyam, Miruthangam Exams: Encouraging artistic pursuits and preserving cultural heritage.
